Director of Talent Development Philippines is responsible for driving the learning interventions for this region. This role will be responsible for implementation and evaluation of programs that facilitate a culture of continuous learning of colleagues, including managers and emerging leaders. This position will cultivate solid, collaborative relationships, identify opportunities for enhancing our learning offerings, and provide strategic and tactical approaches that provide a measurable impact to addressing current and future business needs.

Leadership Responsibility:
  • This position directly/indirectly leads a small team of learning and development professionals.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Is able to drive key talent development and org development interventions as per the vision and strategic priorities of the business. Reinforces a learning culture and offers innovative programs to all employees
  • Is equipped to conduct learning needs analysis to identify learning gaps and initiate innovative solutions for learning needs
  • Builds exceptional relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, communicating effectively with all levels. Works cross-functionally, partnering with the business and HR business partners to have a continuous pulse on the organization and to implement learning and development programs that align to the priority development areas especially for the Philippines and LATAM
  • Leverages business data, engagement and pulse surveys, direct employee feedback, and best practices to influence the learning strategy and employee learning experiences. Performs ongoing evaluations of current programs to measure effectiveness and impact and manage continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborates with senior leadership and talent leaders to anticipate needs, gather requirements, and benchmark industry trends and best practices in training and development
  • Creates development solutions including instructor‑led courses, e‑learning modules, and micro‑learning options, incorporating a blended approach to delivery
  • Facilitates innovative, engaging, and dynamic training sessions to small and large groups of varying seniority
  • Collaborates with the enterprise to integrate D&I into Learning & Organizational Development solutions, where appropriate
  • Leads the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of manager/ individual contributor development solutions for all levels of leadership within the company
  • Assesses the organizational development and learning needs of our operating, business, and functional units
  • Collaborates with global human resource business partners and business leaders to design and implement solutions to facilitate team effectiveness
  • Preparing budgetary recommendations that meet function goals for the geography and provide for effective management of resources
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re‑assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. Advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in HR
  • With 10+ years of experience leading Learning & Development initiatives with demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and delivering comprehensive and diverse learning programs to enable meaningful business outcomes and employee development
  • Organizational Development experience and proven experience managing a team (preferably in a global organization)
  • Experience designing effective training and development programs through online learning, instructor‑led delivery, and micro‑learning
  • Experience implementing assessment tools (e.g., 360 feedback, Hogan, MBTI, StrengthsFinder, DiSC, etc.). Formal certification in such assessments preferred
  • Experience analyzing individual and team performance problems, designing and implementing appropriate interventions, facilitation and consulting during intervention implementation, human resource manager enablement, and intervention evaluation
  • Solid ability to diagnose internal customer needs and identify or develop talent solutions to meet those needs
  • Strategic thinker possessing the consulting capability
  • Capability to facilitate innovative and dynamic training sessions to small and large groups of varying seniority
  • Collaborative business partner who can work cross‑functionally, partnering with key stakeholders and across our People team to have a continuous pulse on the organization and to implement learning and development programs that align to the priority development areas
  • A data‑driven mindset with demonstrated capability at leveraging business data, engagement and pulse surveys, direct employee feedback, and best practices to influence the learning strategy and employee learning experiences
  • Highly effective program manager capable of managing projects and balancing multiple and conflicting priorities while also balancing effective collaboration with independent action
  • Self‑driven and motivated to own and deliver creative and inspired initiatives on time and of high quality
  • Outstanding relationship building skills with a natural ability to build meaningful partnerships with colleagues and stakeholders, communicating effectively with all levels
  • Highly proficient with online learning tools, multimedia training platforms and systems. e‑learning authoring tools, visual presentations, and survey tools
  • An effective leader, self‑directed, proactive, and action‑oriented with a solid degree of initiative and vision
  • Executive presence and superior listening ability
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and build solid relationships with leaders (at all levels) and human resource business partners across a matrixed organization
