Job summary

Upgrade is seeking a Director of Product Management to steer growth for Personal Loans. You will own the growth strategy, work cross-functionally across Marketing, Partnerships, Risk, and Engineering, and translate insights into scalable initiatives that drive revenue and customer value.

You’ll operate in a highly analytical, fast-paced environment with a focus on acquisition, funnel optimization, and market expansion, reporting to Senior Leadership and contributing to strategic investments.

Qualifications

• 9+ years in product management at Principal/Director level with measurable business impact.
• Identify growth opportunities and translate ambiguous problems into clear strategy and roadmaps.
• Strong analytical and commercial instincts with data-driven decision making.
• Experience in consumer lending/fintech preferred.
• Partner with Marketing, Growth, or Partnerships teams.
• Familiarity with credit decisioning, payments, or loan origination is a plus.
• Quantitative skills, experimentation, funnel analytics, and SQL.
• Balance growth, customer experience, risk, fraud, and economics.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve growth product strategy for Personal Loans to grow funded volume.
• Understand the loan funnel, customer behavior, channels, credit constraints, and drivers.
• Identify, size, and prioritize new growth opportunities and partnerships.
• Collaborate with Marketing to connect strategy with acquisition and lifecycle.
• Work with Partnerships to develop distribution opportunities.
• Partner with Risk, Credit, Finance, Analytics to assess impact and profitability.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives from concept to launch.
• Define hypotheses and success metrics; iterate after launch.
• Advise Personal Loans leadership on strategy and investment decisions.
