Job summary

Upgrade is seeking a Principal Product Manager to drive the next growth phase for Personal Loans, spanning acquisition, conversion, and new loan programs. You’ll partner with Marketing, Partnerships, Risk, and Analytics to translate insights into scalable solutions.

The role demands strong quantitative skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead multi-team initiatives in a fast-moving fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience at Senior or Principal level.
• Experience in consumer lending or fintech.
• Strong analytical and commercial instincts with data-driven decision making.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve growth product strategy for Personal Loans.
• Understand funnel, acquisition channels, credit constraints, and performance drivers.
• Identify and prioritize new growth opportunities including new loan programs and partnerships.
• Partner with Marketing to connect strategy with channels and segmentation.
• Collaborate with Partnerships to identify distribution opportunities.
• Work with Risk, Credit, Finance, Analytics to evaluate opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives from concept through launch.
• Define hypotheses and success metrics; iterate after launch.
