Job summary

Accountstaff (EA) is seeking a Nursing Home Executive with strong leadership to plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services, ensuring compliance with MOH/SNB standards. You will support the DON, optimize staffing, and drive cost-effective, high-quality resident care.

The role requires a degree in management, a postgraduate nursing specialty, and a valid RN license with BCLS, with at least 5 years in healthcare management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Management Studies or a related discipline.
• Postgraduate Nursing Specialty Certificate.
• Registered Nurse with a valid practicing license issued by the Singapore Nursing Board.
• Valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of nursing services to support the Nursing Home's strategic goals and operational objectives.
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards, MOH and SNB regulations across the assigned nursing home cluster.
• Support the Director of Nursing in identifying and implementing new resident care programmes and initiatives to address service gaps.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels, skill mix, and manpower allocation across all shifts and service areas.
• Drive operational efficiency by maintaining cost-effective nursing services while achieving optimal resident care outcomes.
• Promote evidence-based nursing practices to enhance care delivery quality and consistency.
• Monitor resident care trends and recommend improvements to nursing services.
• Maintain up-to-date job descriptions for all healthcare staff and ensure accessibility.
• Lead staff development through competency enhancement and formal/in-house training.
• Oversee Training Department to deliver programmes for staff competencies.
• Regularly review and communicate nursing policies and procedures for safe, high-quality care.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.
