D&V Philippines is seeking a Director of Client Accounting & Advisory (US) who will own the client accounting lifecycle from close through delivery, supervise the accounting team, and communicate results to clients.

The role is hybrid with overlap for U.S. Central Time, requiring 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, CPA familiarity, and deep knowledge of QuickBooks Online and US GAAP. You will lead advisory work and client relationships to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar field.
• At least 7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience serving multiple U.S. clients in accounting/advisory environments.
• Experience reviewing work of other accountants and providing review notes.
• Prior experience with a U.S. CPA firm and client relationships.
• Experience with management reporting, budgeting, cash-flow forecasting, KPI analysis, or fractional-CFO support.
• Ownership of month-end close and financial-statement delivery for multiple entities/clients.
• Advanced QuickBooks Online knowledge including reconciliations, payroll integrations, and reporting.

Responsabilités

• Own the monthly and quarterly close calendar across the client portfolio and ensure timely, accurate work.
• Perform final review of reconciliations, workpapers, journal entries, and financial statements.
• Identify unusual balances, errors, cash-flow concerns and take action.
• Prepare and deliver financial statements and management commentary.
• Explain month-end results to clients in clear business language and indicate needed actions.
• Lead client communications related to close, reporting, payroll, and follow-ups.
• Coach and review the Client Accounting Operations Manager and associates.
• Maintain close checklists, SOPs, and quality control across multiple clients.
• Lead or oversee QuickBooks Online cleanup, COA redesign, and process improvements.
• Prepare cash-flow projections, budgets, KPI reporting, profitability analyses for advisory clients.
• Translate financial results into practical recommendations for improvement or growth.
• Develop client-specific recommendations and strategic action plans with firm leadership.
