Job summary

Freshworks is seeking a Director of Internal Creative & Design Services to lead and scale its in‑house creative studio, owning strategy, operations, and output. You will oversee brand campaigns, sales enablement, events, and digital experiences, ensuring the quality and character of the Freshworks brand across touchpoints.

You will build a modern, AI-assisted studio with agency-like discipline, driving growth through compelling visuals and efficient production.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in creative direction or in‑house studio leadership.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating brand-building work across digital, campaign, and product marketing contexts.
• Deep understanding of visual design, art direction, motion, and how great creative drives business outcomes.
• Strong background in B2B SaaS or technology marketing, with ability to make complex products clear and compelling.
• Proven ability to build and scale an in‑house creative function, including operations, process, and team structure.
• Fluency in the modern design toolchain: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and emerging AI tools.
• Ability to balance creative vision with operational rigor and timely delivery.
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with brand, content, product marketing, sales, and exec comms.
• Excellent communication and executive presence; able to present creative strategy to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate Freshworks' internal creative studio as a center of excellence serving multiple teams.
• Define and evolve the visual and creative expression of the Freshworks brand across formats and channels.
• Lead creative development across campaigns, assets, presentations, events, and collateral.
• Build scalable creative operations with workflows, briefing, and project management frameworks.
• Partner with marketing to ensure creative brings Freshworks narrative to life with impact.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted design tools to accelerate production while keeping craft.
• Establish and maintain a design system and asset library for internal teams.
• Define and track creative performance metrics like asset utilization and velocity.
• Build, lead, and grow a team of designers, art directors, motion artists, and producers.
