The Dining Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dining area to ensure excellent customer service, efficient staff performance, cleanliness, and smooth restaurant operations. The position also ensures guest satisfaction and compliance with company standards and policies.
Supervise and monitor daily dining operations and staff performance
Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction
Assist in handling customer concerns and complaints professionally
Monitor cleanliness, sanitation, and proper dining area setup
Coordinate with kitchen and service staff for smooth operations
Prepare staff schedules and assign duties as needed
Train and guide dining staff on proper service procedures
Monitor inventory of dining supplies and equipment
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and hygiene standards
Prepare daily reports and submit operational updates to management
Assist management in achieving sales and operational goals
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field
With or without supervisory experience in restaurant or hotel operations
Strong leadership and customer service skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledgeable in food safety and sanitation standards
Organized, responsible, and detail-oriented
Can work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
Proficient in basic Microsoft Office applications
Experience in restaurant, café, or hotel dining operations is an advantage
Training in food handling or customer service is an advantage
Ability to handle staff scheduling and operational concerns effectively
