Job summary

TOKAGAWA GLOBAL CORPORATION is seeking a Nutrition and Dietetics professional to manage the preparation, quality, and delivery of therapeutic meals for hospital patients. You will review diets, coordinate with medical teams, and supervise meal production to ensure safety, accuracy, and compliance with dietary prescriptions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Nutrition and Dietetics and licensure as a Dietitian Nutritionist, with knowledge of therapeutic diets, food safety, sanitation, and HACCP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Registered/Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets, food safety, sanitation, and HACCP.
• Experience in hospital food service or therapeutic meal production is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify patients' prescribed diets and meal requirements.
• Coordinate with hospital medical and dietary teams regarding patient diet orders.
• Plan and supervise the preparation of therapeutic meals based on prescribed diets.
• Ensure meals are accurate, safe, nutritious, properly portioned and presented.
• Monitor food preparation, sanitation, and compliance with HACCP and hospital food safety standards.
• Supervise labeling, checking, packing, and distribution of patient meals.
• Ensure timely delivery of meals to patient rooms or designated areas.
• Monitor patient meal concerns, substitutions, allergies and special dietary requirements.
• Conduct regular quality checks of food, ingredients and meal production.
• Maintain accurate records, diet lists and meal production documentation.
