Job summary

Chong Hua Hospital, the Philippines' premier healthcare destination, is seeking a Dietary Aide to support patient meals and dietary operations. You will serve meals promptly, assist in food preparation, and help maintain the cleanliness and order of the Dietary Department.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of relevant work experience in food handling, a TESDA NC II or higher, and a Health Card; strong English communication and friendly, patient-centered service are essential.

JOB SUMMARY

The Dietary Aide will be responsible for serving patients’ meal as necessary and promptly; assists in the food preparation; and responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of the Dietary Department.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed at least second year college or at least 72 units of college education and/or its equivalent.

• OR a high school graduate with NC II Certificate from TESDA or any accredited institution and with at least two (2) years of relevant work experience in food handling is preferred.

• Possess a valid Health Card from the Cebu City Health Department.

• Must be physically strong and capable of pushing the food cart safely from the Dietary Department to the patients’ room.

• Excellent in patient and customer relation skills and good interpersonal skills.

• Satisfactory English communication skills, both oral and written. Can communicate in the Visayan and/or Tagalog dialect/s.
