Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sets up the clinic and prepares materials for the physician, ensuring PE cubicle readiness.
• Conducts initial assessment before endorsement to the retainer physician for medical consultation.
• Assesses pre-employment medical examination results and coordinates status with Talent Acquisition.
• Schedules and monitors annual/periodic/special examinations of employees, following through on results.
• Implements vaccination programs in coordination with infection control and other health care staff.
• Conducts home visits or follow-ups for employees with chronic illness or on extended sick leave.
• Prepares periodic reports for the department and management.
• Addresses patient concerns and escalates when necessary.
• Ensures completeness and confidentiality of medical records and related forms.

Chong Hua Hospital is looking to hire a Company Nurse to provide necessary support, clinical assistance and materials for the physician, schedules and implements annual/periodic/special examination of employees. Assess pre-employment medical examination results. Generates reports and submits to management or government agencies when necessary. Coordinates with resident physicians for HRIS/ health records concerns and coordinates any work-related injuries/illness to the immediate superior and/or the Safety Officer.

S/He also participates in continuous quality improvement and Hospital standards compliance and implementation activities.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Sets up the clinic and provides necessary materials for the physician e.g. prescription pads, thermometer, BP apparatus, etc. Secures the PE (Physical Exam) cubicle, ensuring a pillow and blanket is available.

• Conducts initial assessment prior to endorsement to the retainer physician for medical consultation procedure.

• Assesses pre-employment medical examination results and coordinates status/evaluation with Talent Acquisition team/MDO.

• Schedules, implements and monitors annual/periodic/special examination of employees. Assesses results, refers to Company Physician for management, monitors result with physician’s recommendations and follows through until illness is cleared.

• Implements vaccination programs and initiatives across the organization in collaboration with infection control team and other health care provider as necessary; prepares/routes memo in relation to these initiatives.

• Conducts home visit or follow through of employees with chronic illness or on prolonged sick leave, as needed.

• Prepares periodic reports for the department as may be required by the immediate superior or the management.

• Acts upon or resolves any patient concerns. Escalates these to immediate superior if it is beyond his/her level of capacity

• Responsible for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of all forms needed during medical consultation; ensures the confidentiality of employee’s medical records, medical history, etc. Makes sure that these are kept on file for records and legal purposes.

• Responsible for the safekeeping and monitoring of clinic equipment and supplies; monitors equipment functionality and usage in the clinic; monitors the consumption of the consumable items and ensures that the supplies are replenished. Informs/updates the immediate superior for low stock level and prepares requisition as necessary.

• Logs, prepares reports and submits to management and DOLE as required, e.g. work-related accidents, top reasons for consultation and complaints of employees, etc.

• Participates in the continuous quality improvement of service, safety procedures and activities.

Qualifications

• A graduate of any four or five (4 or 5) year course, preferably Allied Health Sciences.

• With experience in any of the following areas:

• • Quality in Healthcare

• • Continuous Quality Improvement or CQI

• • Total Quality Management or TQM

• • Internal Quality Audits / Process Audits

• • Problem Solving Process

• Healthcareindustryexperience is a plus.

• Excellent customer relation skills.

• Demonstrated understanding of basic corporate office software, including Microsoft Office 365 applications.

• Effectivecommunication skills. Proficiency in the Visayan dialect and/or Tagalog is required; ability to communicatewellin English is an advantage.
