Job summary

AIA Digital+ Philippines seeks a DevOps Platform Lead to oversee delivery, operation and continuous improvement of secure, scalable DevOps tools and automation, enabling development teams to boost productivity and software delivery.

You will govern tool lifecycles, manage budgets, ensure security and compliance, coordinate with vendors and stakeholders, and coach teams to raise operational excellence with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Education – Degree holder in IT / Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience administering GitHub Enterprise Cloud and/or Atlassian Jira/Confluence.
• Strong collaboration, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Platform governance and financial management of subscriptions, access, and tool lifecycles.
• Maintain secure, reliable DevOps platforms and implement security/compliance improvements.
• Monitor platform performance and lead incident, change, release, and availability management.
• Stakeholder and vendor management to standardize practices and meet service commitments.

Job description

Lead the delivery, operation and continuous improvement of secure, reliable and scalable DevOps tools and automation capabilities across AIA, enabling development teams to improve productivity, accelerate software delivery and maintain high standards of quality, security and operational resilience.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Platform governance and financial management: Own the processes and controls for subscription creation, user access and tool lifecycle management; coordinate license purchases and renewals with subscription owners; and complete budget and forecast planning with Business Units in line with scheduled and ad hoc requirements.
• Security and compliance: Maintain secure, reliable and scalable DevOps platforms, implementing improvements and remediation actions to address security, risk and compliance requirements.
• Service operations: Monitor platform performance, availability and service quality, and lead organization-wide incident, problem, change, release and availability management activities, including CAB participation, root-cause analysis and timely resolution.
• Stakeholder and vendor management: Orchestrate delivery with key vendors and partner with development, operations, security, quality and Business Unit stakeholders to standardize practices, resolve complex issues and meet service commitments.
• Continuous improvement and leadership: Drive improvements to team processes, operating procedures and automation while providing technical guidance and coaching that strengthen capability and accountability.Proactively drive initiatives, resolving issues and making informed decisions with minimal supervision while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Job Requirements:

• Education – Degree holder in IT / Computer Science or equivalent discipline
• Experienced in the administration of GitHub Enterprise Cloud and/or Atlassian products (Jira/Confluence)
• Strong collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to investigate and analyze information, and to draw conclusions.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and desire to learn new languages and technologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Disciplined and structured and able to work under a fast-paced learning environment.
• Strong leadership, outcome-driven mindset, and able to independently drive delivery, stakeholder engagement and operational excellence with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge in one or more coding languages e.g. Java, Python, Bash script is highly desirable
