Job summary

John Clements Consultants, Inc. is seeking a DevOps/Platform Engineer to optimize CI/CD pipelines, support Azure cloud resources, and help automate deployment for development and testing environments.

You will work with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, ARM templates, and monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana, collaborating with software, QA, and operations teams to ensure stable, secure deployments.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or related role.
• Hands-on experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and software deployment processes.
• Experience working with Azure cloud services.
• Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code and container technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Support source control, branching strategies, and deployment processes across development and testing environments.
• Help automate build, testing, and deployment workflows to improve software delivery.
• Assist in provisioning and maintaining Azure cloud resources using IaC tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
• Monitor cloud resources and recommend improvements to performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes and manage related registries.
• Assist in monitoring, logging, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, or similar platforms.
• Follow DevOps security best practices and assist in incident resolution and continuous improvement activities.
