Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced infrastructure engineer to design, build, and maintain Azure-based cloud infrastructure.

You will implement IaC with Terraform, build Kubernetes platforms, and design reusable deployment patterns. The role emphasizes security, automation, and observability, with duties spanning CI/CD, monitoring, incident response, and collaboration with software, security, and architecture teams.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years in infrastructure, cloud, or DevSecOps engineering.
• Strong Terraform and Azure platform knowledge.

• Strong Linux and networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Azure-based cloud infrastructure
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform

Security & Compliance

• Implement cloud security best practices and secure-by-default infrastructure patterns
• Design and manage identity, authentication, and authorization controls
• Implement secrets management, policy enforcement, and runtime security controls
• Support vulnerability management, auditability, and compliance initiatives

Automation & Operations

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational observability solutions
• Support incident response, diagnostics, and platform reliability initiatives
• Improve developer experience through automation and platform tooling
• Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate infrastructure engineering and operational workflows

Technical Collaboration

Required Experience & Capabilities

• 5–10+ years of infrastructure, cloud, or DevSecOps engineering experience
• Strong Terraform experience Deep Azure cloud platform knowledge Strong Kubernetes and container

• Experience implementing cloud security and identity solutions
• Strong Linux and networking fundamentals
