Job summary

BrightLocal is seeking an experienced DevOps / Systems Engineer to join our remote DevOps team and help strengthen, automate, and continuously improve our production infrastructure. You will work on scripting, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD pipelines across critical systems.

The role requires hands-on skills with Docker, Ansible, networking, and databases, plus a proactive, collaborative mindset and openness to leveraging AI tools to boost productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• Shell/Python scripting and infrastructure automation
• Ansible and CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions/Jenkins)
• Docker, networking, databases, hardware, and troubleshooting skills
• Confidence using AI tools to improve productivity and quality
• Strong communication, teamwork, ownership, and continuous-learning mindset

Occasional travel to our Valencia City office/data centre may be required.
