Job summary

ATOMIT Corp. is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design and evolve cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure. You will drive automation, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and enable zero-downtime deployments across geo-distributed environments.

You will mentor teams on DevOps best practices and work with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and AWS across Linux/Windows platforms. On-site collaboration in Makati-like setup is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5–6 years of solid DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or systems automation experience.
• Strong hands-on with Ansible, Maven, Jira, Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), and Helm.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and evolve CI/CD architectures and automation pipelines for zero-downtime deployments.
• Build and manage scalable, geo-distributed infrastructure across AWS Linux/Windows and on-premises.
• Collaborate with development teams to set up automation pipelines and resolve complex issues.
• Implement robust monitoring with Grafana to ensure high availability and performance.
• Administer application servers, web servers, and databases (JBoss, Tomcat, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2).
• Contribute to on-call rotations and drive infrastructure resilience.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to design, evolve, and maintain our cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving automation, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring zero-downtime deployments. You will collaborate closely with development teams to build scalable, geo-distributed infrastructure and mentor others on DevOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• CI/CD & Automation: Design, maintain, and evolve architectures and automation pipelines for zero-downtime deployment using tools like Helm and GitLab CI.

• Infrastructure & Scaling: Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible to scale, automate, and manage microservices across Linux/Windows AWS and on-premises environments.

• Monitoring & Optimization: Implement and manage robust monitoring systems using Grafana to ensure high availability and performance.

• Application & DB Administration: Administer application servers, web servers, and databases, including JBoss, Tomcat, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and DB2.

• Collaboration & Support: Partner with development teams to set up automation pipelines, solve complex technical problems, and collaborate with fellow DevOps engineers to deliver best-in‑class solutions.

• Infrastructure Resilience: Build geo-distributed infrastructure, research/integrate new automation tools, and participate in an on‑call schedule to provide server and technical support.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience: At least 5 to 6 years of solid experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or systems automation.

• Core DevOps Tools: Strong hands‑on experience with Ansible, Maven, Jira, Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), and Helm.

• Cloud & OS: Proven experience managing AWS (Amazon Web Services) environments across both Linux and Windows platforms.

• Development & APIs: Proficiency in key programming languages and technologies, specifically Java and REST APIs.

• Testing & SOA: Knowledgeable and experienced in SOAP services testing and using tools like ReadyAPI / SoapUI Pro.

• Database & App Servers: Experience administering JBoss, Tomcat, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and DB2.

• Work Setup: Must be amenable to working on-site in Makati City.
