About The Role
The Full Stack Developer is responsible for end-to-end application development on Insight's AI Development team — from building polished user interfaces to developing the backend services that power AI-driven applications. You will work across a variety of projects, building internal tools, customer-facing applications, intelligent dashboards, and AI-enabled workflows that serve Insight's enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive front-end interfaces using React and JavaScript.
- Build and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Python (FastAPI or similar frameworks).
- Integrate AI and LLM-powered features into web applications, working closely with AI Developers and Data Engineers.
- Develop and deploy applications on Microsoft Azure, leveraging cloud services for authentication (Entra), storage, and compute.
- Write clean, testable, well-documented code; participate in code reviews and uphold team coding standards.
- Collaborate with UI/UX Designers, Product Owners, and other engineers to translate requirements into working software.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance, security, and reliability.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a full stack developer with a track record of delivering production web applications.
- Required proficiency in JavaScript and React; experience building responsive, accessible user interfaces.
- Required proficiency in C# and Python; experience building APIs with FastAPI, Flask, Django, or ASP.NET Core.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure for application deployment and management.
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB, Firestore). Experience with Databricks is a plus.
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows.
- Familiarity with integrating LLM-powered features or AI services into web applications is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills; comfortable working in an Agile team.
