Insight is seeking a UI/UX Developer for its AI Development team. You will design intuitive interfaces, own the UX from concept to production, and collaborate with AI developers and product owners to ensure feasibility and alignment with goals.

Responsibilities include wireframing, prototypes, and building front-end code with React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, plus establishing a reusable design system and ensuring WCAG accessibility across devices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of UI/UX design and front-end development experience.
• Strong portfolio with user-centered design; proficient with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Proficiency in React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for production-quality interfaces.
• Experience with user research, wireframes, prototypes, and usability testing.
• Experience building or contributing to a reusable design system.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; able to explain design decisions.
• Comfortable in Agile teams and iterative feedback.

About This Role

The UI/UX Developer on Insight's AI Development team is responsible for designing and building intuitive, visually polished user interfaces for AI-powered applications. You will own the user experience from concept through implementation — creating wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready front-end code. Whether the project is a conversational AI agent, an internal dashboard, or an intelligent workflow tool, you will ensure that every interaction feels seamless and accessible to end users across Insight's enterprise.

What You’ll Do In This Role

• Design user interfaces for AI-powered web applications, including chat interfaces, dashboards, forms, and data visualizations.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts and gather stakeholder feedback.
• Develop production front-end code using React and JavaScript/CSS, translating designs into responsive, accessible components.
• Establish and maintain a consistent design system (component library, style guides, UI patterns) for the AI Development team.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and design reviews to validate and iterate on designs.
• Collaborate closely with Full Stack Developers, AI Developers, and Product Owners to ensure designs are technically feasible and aligned with product goals.
• Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG) and cross-browser/device compatibility.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end development.
• Design: Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design skills; proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Front End: Proficiency in React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS; ability to build production-quality responsive interfaces.
• UX Methodology: Experience with user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
• Design Systems: Experience building or contributing to a reusable component library or design system.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; ability to articulate design rationale to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaboration: Comfortable working in Agile teams and iterating based on feedback.
• Nice to Have: Experience designing conversational AI interfaces (chatbots, copilots); familiarity with data visualization or dashboard design.
