Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in detailing or supervisory roles in the construction industry.
• Specialised structural detailing experience required.
• Strong CAD proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

About the role

Grandspan Development Corporation, a leading structural steel fabrication and erection company, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Detailing Supervisor to join our team in Binangonan Rizal. As the Detailing Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the production and quality of detailed engineering drawings and technical specifications for our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

1. Supervise and coordinate a team of detailing personnel to ensure the timely and accurate completion of engineering drawings and technical documents

2. Review and approve detailed drawings, specifications, and other technical documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and applicable regulations

3. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to address technical issues and provide solutions

4. Develop and implement standardised detailing procedures and quality control measures to maintain high-quality deliverables

5. Provide training and mentorship to junior detailing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge

6. Effectively communicate with stakeholders, including clients and external design consultants, to address their needs and concerns

7. Participate in project planning and decision-making processes to contribute to the overall success of the project

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field

2. Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in a detailing or supervisory role within the construction industry

3. Candidate must have specialised experience in structural detailing within the minimum 5-year experience requirement

4. Minimum 5 years of team supervision experience is essential for this supervisory position

5. Proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent

6. Excellent technical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply engineering principles

7. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with cross-functional teams

9. Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and industry standards

10. Keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety

11. Experience in structural steel fabrication and erection is an advantage
