Job summary

About the role

We are seeking a talented Project Engineer to join our team at Grandspan Development Corporation in Binangonan Rizal. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects, overseeing all technical and operational aspects from start to finish. This is a contract position, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects within our dynamic organisation.

What you'll be doing

1. Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
2. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to address technical issues and ensure seamless project delivery
3. Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and identify and resolve any challenges that arise
4. Prepare and review technical documents, such as construction plans, specifications, and reports
5. Collaborate with the design team to provide technical input and support
6. Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
7. Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians, and support their professional development

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field
2. Professional Licence in Civil Engineering is required at the time of application
3. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry
4. A minimum of 5 years' experience specifically in steel fabrication and construction is required
5. Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents
6. Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
8. Familiarity with project management software and tools, such as Primavera or MS Project
9. Intermediate experience in Project Management and proficiency with MS Office applications
10. Registered as a Civil/Structural Engineer is preferred
