Job summary

ECAM Technologies Corporation is seeking an entry-level Desktop Support I to join the Service Desk. You will provide basic hardware/software support, assist in incident management, and help with asset management and documentation for IT communications. This role operates on a 24x7 shift and supports onsite end-user IT needs.

Fresh graduates are welcome. Candidates should have foundational knowledge of Windows and Linux, Office 365, and CCTV/NVR concepts; training will be provided for escalation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Systems, Computer, Engineering or related disciplines; combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
• Professional technology certifications are preferred but not required.
• Fresh graduates or those with 0–2 years of experience in similar roles are welcome.
• Basic knowledge of PC hardware components and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (O365) and similar tools.
• Familiarity with CCTV IP cameras and NVRs is an advantage.
• Strong ability to read and interpret manuals and procedures; good problem solving and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and deploy workstation computers and laptops per enterprise standards.
• Coordinate and escalate to Senior Service Desk Engineers, Infrastructure and Vendors for end-user issues.
• Re-image desktops and laptops following company standards.
• Enforce lockdown, security policies and hardening requirements.
• Perform hardware/software maintenance checklist activities.
• Provide direct technical support and follow escalation matrix.
• Troubleshoot issues and determine workarounds for immediate client needs.
• Manage IT Asset lifecycle and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Assist in troubleshooting critical incidents and business outages onsite.
