Job summary

Tata Consulting Engineers Limited (TCE) is seeking experienced designers and drafting leads to bolster our global engineering teams. The role focuses on 3D modeling with Smart Plant 3D, Plant 3D, E3D, BIM, Revit and Tekla, plus 2D drafting in AutoCAD, MicroStation and SP PID.

You will drive detailed modeling, drawings extraction, and ensure adherence to drafting standards. You will mentor designers, coordinate with engineers across infrastructure and industrial projects, and help deliver

Qualifications

• Expertise in 3D modeling tools such as Smart Plant 3D, Plant 3D, E3D, BIM, Revit and Tekla.
• Proficient in 2D drafting tools AutoCAD, MicroStation, and SP PID.
• Ability to lead a team of Designers/Drafters and mentor staff.
• Knowledge of drafting standards and engineering codes.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models for detailed engineering projects.
• Lead and mentor Design/Drafting team to deliver quality work.
• Ensure adherence to drafting standards and client requirements.
• Coordinate drawings extraction and report extraction across projects.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver on-time engineering deliverables.

Purpose & Scope of Position

• Expertise in 3D modeling tool: Smart Plant 3D/ Plant 3D/E3D/BIM/Revit/Tekla (RCC &structural) &2D drafting tool: AutoCAD/MicroStation/SP PID,
• Expertise in development of 3D models for detailed engineering projects &Familiar with all the required Drafting Standards like Layers/Fonts/Size/Styles/Blocks
• Expertise in Drawings Extraction like Layout/Sectional/Isometrics
• Expertise in clash report extraction and resolution
• Familiar with Engineering codes and standards
• Familiar with drawing extraction and report extraction
• Familiar with drafting standards
• Ability to lead the team of Designers/Draftsman
• Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
