Job summary

Egis Group is seeking a Civil CAD Technician specializing in Transportation to Bengaluru, India. You will create precise CAD drawings and models for transportation projects, collaborating with engineers and project managers to meet specifications and standards.

The role requires 2–5 years of civil CAD experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D or MicroStation. You will support documentation, reporting, and design validation throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation.
• 2-5 years of professional experience in civil CAD design or transportation engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of transportation infrastructure design principles and traffic engineering standards.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and create technical drawings, blueprints, and design specifications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with engineers and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare detailed CAD drawings and designs for transportation infrastructure projects, including road layouts, traffic management systems, and highway designs
• Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and project requirements to create accurate technical documentation
• Utilize CAD software to model transportation systems and infrastructure components with precision and efficiency
• Analyze project data and design parameters to ensure compliance with transportation engineering standards and regulations
• Coordinate with civil engineers and project stakeholders to incorporate design modifications and updates into CAD models
• Maintain organized project files and documentation, ensuring all drawings are properly labeled, versioned, and archived
• Review and verify CAD drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design standards before submission
• Assist in preparing project presentations and technical reports that incorporate CAD visualizations and design data
• Stay current with industry best practices, software updates, and transportation design methodologies
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to CAD software and coordinate with IT support when necessary

About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Civil CAD Technician specializing in Transportation to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings, designs, and models for transportation infrastructure projects. You will work collaboratively with civil engineers and project managers to develop comprehensive CAD documentation that meets industry standards and project specifications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.

What do we need from you
