Job summary

Tata Consulting Engineers Limited (TCE) is seeking a Draftsman Civil to prepare, modify, and maintain precise engineering drawings using AutoCAD, MicroStation, SP PID, and related tools. You will convert mark-ups and design inputs into detailed 2D drawings in accordance with project standards.

You will collaborate with engineers and project teams, ensure timely delivery, mentor junior draftsmen when required, and contribute to adopting new drafting technologies including exposure to 3D platforms.

Purpose & Scope of Position

The Draftsman Civil is responsible for preparing, modifying, and maintaining accurate engineering drawings and related documentation using AutoCAD, MicroStation, SP PID, and other drafting tools in accordance with project requirements, industry codes, client specifications, and drafting standards. The role involves converting engineering mark-ups, sketches, and design inputs into detailed 2D drawings, supporting drawing and report extraction, coordinating with engineering and project teams, ensuring quality and timely delivery of project deliverables, mentoring junior draftsmen when required, and contributing to continuous improvement through the adoption of new technologies and best drafting practices, including exposure to 3D design platforms.
