Job summary

MicroSourcing is building a new team in the Philippine market to design, price, and validate solutions for Australian telco clients. The Design Specialist will lead pre-sales design for fixed carriage and WAN services, engaging with enterprise customers and internal teams to deliver robust, standards-based architectures and accurate proposals.

Onsite day shifts in BGC, Taguig, with responsibilities spanning design, pricing, validation, and handover to delivery.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in ICT solution design or architecture.
• Ter­tiary qualification in IT, Engineering/ECE, or equivalent certifications.
• Knowledge of network, carriage and security tech.
• Background in telecommunications or enterprise networking.
• Experience designing and pricing pre-sales solutions across multiple towers.
• Ability to lead WAN solution design and integration into ICT environments.

Responsibilities

• Pre-sales engagement: qualify opportunities and advise on fixed carriage products.
• Design and price solutions; produce high‑level and low‑level design docs and costed proposals.
• Validate access options and costs; coordinate with vendors and provisioning teams.
• Demonstrations: showcase WAN capabilities and self-serve portals.
• Define configurations for OE service integration (routing, security overlays, policy).
• Document configurations; manage ordering and governance against design intent.
• Participate in RFPs/RFIs; ensure accurate pricing of carriage components.
• Handover to delivery with clear design artifacts and transition materials.
• Promote standard patterns and reusable templates; drive continuous improvement.
• Support MNS changes and stakeholder feasibility studies.
• Collaborate across sales, product, engineering and vendors; maintain customer focus.
• Manage risks and compliance training to ensure operational excellence.
