Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines seeks a Design Officer to maintain mall design standards by establishing design requirements and reviewing proposed design concepts in line with business standards.

This role plans and oversees mall design projects, supervises construction and contractors, and ensures quality and safety. It also supports tenant coordination and ongoing learning while based at SM City Bataan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering required.
• Registered Architect or Registered Civil Engineer preferred.
• At least two years of experience in design development and project management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute mall design projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality and budget control.
• Oversee construction and contractor performance to guarantee design accuracy and timely delivery.
• Inspect facilities for maintenance and safety compliance, recommending restorations as needed.
• Support tenant coordination through design plan reviews aligned with mall development standards.
• Promote continuous learning through training, skill enhancement, and knowledge sharing.

Job description

The Design Officer maintains the design standards of the mall through establishing design requirements and reviewing proposed design concepts in accordance of the business standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute mall design projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality, budget control, and compliance with design standards.
• Oversee construction and contractor performance to guarantee design accuracy, workmanship quality, and timely project delivery.
• Maintain and improve mall facilities by inspecting conditions, recommending restorations, and ensuring regular maintenance and safety compliance.
• Support tenant coordination through design plan reviews and alignment with mall development standards.
• Promote continuous learning and development by participating in training, skill enhancement, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
• Preferably a Registered Architect or Registered Civil Engineer.
• With at least two (2) years experience in design development and project management.
