Job summary

SM City Baliwag is seeking a Design Officer to establish and maintain mall design standards, oversee design concepts, and ensure quality from concept to completion. The role includes managing budgets, directing contractors, and coordinating with tenants to align with development standards.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering, preferably with registration as an architect or civil engineer, and have at least two years in design development and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
• Preferably a Registered Architect or Registered Civil Engineer.
• With at least two (2) years experience in design development and project management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute mall design projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality, budget control, and compliance with design standards.
• Oversee construction and contractor performance to guarantee design accuracy, workmanship quality, and timely project delivery.
• Maintain and improve mall facilities by inspecting conditions, recommending restorations, and ensuring regular maintenance and safety compliance.
• Support tenant coordination through design plan reviews and alignment with mall development standards.
• Promote continuous learning and development by participating in training, skill enhancement, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering
