Job summary

SM Supermalls (Shopping Center Management Corporation) is seeking a Design Officer to craft the visual language across our malls, setting design requirements and proposing concepts that align with world-class standards.

You will collaborate with operations, contractors, and suppliers to ensure quality execution, inspections, and timely project close-out, leveraging AutoCAD and MS Office to deliver exceptional spaces for shoppers across our portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture required.
• Licensed Architect required.
• 1–2 years of experience in construction or related engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review project requirements, cost estimates, and BOQs.
• Monitor project implementation to ensure work aligns with plans, specs, and timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and mall operations for quality execution.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Assist in project close-out, punch list, and completion documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor project implementation and ensure works are completed according to approved plans, specifications, and timelines

• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and mall operations to ensure quality project execution

• Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress

• Ensure compliance with company standards, building codes, and safety regulations

• Assist in project close-out, punch listing, and completion documentation

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture

• Licensed Architect

• At least 1-2 years of experience in construction, project implementation, or related engineering work

• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office applications
