Job summary

SM Supermalls seeks a Design Officer to maintain mall design standards by establishing requirements and reviewing concepts aligned with business standards.

The role involves planning mall design projects from concept through completion, supervising construction, and ensuring adherence to quality, budget, and safety standards. You will also inspect facilities, support tenant coordination, and participate in ongoing training to foster knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering required.
• Registered Architect or Registered Civil Engineer preferred.
• At least two years’ experience in design development and project management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute mall design projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality, budget control, and compliance with design standards.
• Oversee construction and contractor performance to guarantee design accuracy, workmanship quality, and timely project delivery.
• Maintain and improve mall facilities by inspecting conditions, recommending restorations, and ensuring regular maintenance and safety compliance.
• Support tenant coordination through design plan reviews and alignment with mall development standards.
• Promote continuous learning and development by participating in training, skill enhancement, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
