About the job Design Management Associate

Job Summary

The Interior Design Associate prepares conceptual, detailed drawings, cost estimate for bidding and ID construction. Supports managing the project by coordinating and supervising all the requirements and deliverables submitted coming from the team. Duties involve meeting and coordination with stakeholders, review material and FFE specifications, research and material sourcing, monitor project schedule and quality of work, supervise and review all information related to the project. Control documents and drawings inflow and outflow. Responsible to give update and proper written report to give her Senior ID with full picture of work progress, current situation and issues to be resolved by the team.

Duties and Responsibilities

KEY FUNCTIONS/DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:

I. DESIGN AND PLAN REVIEW

• Plan Preparation
• Review and refer ID works associated with building construction orimprovement projects
• Design projects and/or review architectural or engineering plans,specifications and contract documents to ensure compliance with governmentcodes, laws and regulations
• Review supplier shop drawings/SCM’s alternatives and PR/CMquantity takeoff
• Help in concept and design presentation
• Help in production of Design and drawings, specifications

II. PROJECT AND BUDGET COORDINATION

• Conductmeeting and coordinate with consultants and other departments essential to theproject to clarify and resolve issues and concerns
• Set-up/conductthe design coordination and attend to the construction RFA’s/ RFI's and or design issues
• Conductregular follow-ups and status meetings with concerned departments
• Preparation and coordination of budgetary cost estimate with Cost Planning Group and/or external consultants
• Analyzeand understand the budget set-up for the project assigned to work only withinthe agreed budget
• Consolidateand review submitted bid packages in accordance with approved concept anddesign

III. ON-SITE IMPLEMENTATION

• Advise contractors on the interpretation of plans and recommendchanges as needed
• Monitor project schedule, conduct periodic site inspection andpunch listing before project turn-over to ensure quality of work and compliancewith the approved design drawings
• Create time table for project construction
• Prepares technical reports, progress reports, special studies andcost estimates for the projects

• Knowledgeable on material and furniture trends, sourcing, and procurement for interior design
