Job summary

Extinguished, Inc. is seeking an experienced Design & Estimate Head in Quezon City to lead the D&E team, review plans, and ensure accurate costing and proposals for execution. The role bridges technical and commercial aspects of engineering projects.

You will coordinate with Sales, Project Engineers, Purchasing and Operations, guiding others to deliver complete, practical designs and estimates aligned with project requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3–5 years in design, estimation, costing, or engineering project work.
• Education: Licensed / Registered Mechanical Engineer.
• Technical Knowledge: Fire suppression, sprinkler, pre-action systems, access control, CCTV.
• Design Skills: Read and interpret plans, drawings, specs and requirements.
• Leadership: Comfortable leading a team and making technical decisions.
• Organization: Manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
• Communication: Coordinate clearly with technical and non-technical teams.

About the Role

At Extinguished, Inc., good projects start with good planning.

We are looking for an experienced Design & Estimate Head who can lead our D&E team and make sure our designs, estimates, costing, and technical proposals are accurate, practical, and ready for execution.

This role is for someone who understands both the technical and commercial side of engineering projects. You’ll be reviewing plans, guiding the team, coordinating with different departments, and making sure nothing important gets missed before a project moves forward.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the D&E Team: Guide and supervise the Design & Estimate team and help ensure work is completed accurately and on time.


• Design Review: Review technical drawings, plans, specifications, and project requirements before submission or implementation.


• Estimation & Costing: Oversee the preparation of cost estimates, BOQ/BOM, material requirements, and technical proposals.


• Technical Coordination: Work closely with Sales, Project Engineers, Purchasing, Operations, and other departments to clarify project requirements.


• System Planning: Review designs involving fire suppression, sprinkler, pre-action, access control, CCTV, and other related systems.


• Quality Control: Make sure designs and estimates are complete, practical, and aligned with project specifications.


• Team Support: Provide technical guidance, review the work of team members, and help resolve design or estimation concerns.

What You Bring to the Table

• Experience: At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in design, estimation, costing, or engineering project work.


• Education: Licensed / Registered Mechanical Engineer.


• Technical Knowledge: Familiar with Fire Suppression Systems, Sprinkler Systems, Pre-Action Systems, Access Control, and CCTV.


• Design Skills: Able to read and interpret plans, technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.


• Leadership: Comfortable leading a team, reviewing work, and making technical decisions.


• Organization: Able to handle multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines without losing attention to detail.


• Communication: Can coordinate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams.
