Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for calculations.
• Strong project-handling and execution capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed civil engineering designs, site development plans, alignment models, grading, and drainage layouts using Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Manage civil design deliverables from concepts to final construction documentation within timelines and budget.
• Perform engineering computations and quantity take-offs using Excel and standard tools.

Position Overview:

ESCA International is seeking a dedicated and qualified Transportation Design Engineer to join our Civil Engineering Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, developing, and managing civil engineering designs and documentation, with a strong focus on transportation and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed civil engineering designs, site development plans, alignment models, grading, and drainage layouts using Autodesk Civil 3D.

• Manage civil design deliverables from initial concepts to final construction documentation, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.

• Perform engineering computations, quantity take-offs, and design data analysis using Microsoft Office Excel and standard civil engineering tools.

• Collaborate closely with project managers, multidisciplinary engineering teams, and client representatives to align on design requirements and technical specifications.

• Review design drawings, calculations, and documentation to maintain strict compliance with local/international engineering codes and company standards.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) or equivalent; Registered Civil Engineer (RCE) preferred.

• Open to candidates with at least 3 years of specialized experience working on Transportation Projects (experience on other general civil engineering projects will be fully considered).

• Highly proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D.
