Job summary

ESCA International is seeking a Design Engineer to join our Civil Engineering Department, focusing on transportation and infrastructure projects. The role involves developing civil designs and documentation, using Autodesk Civil 3D, and coordinating with project managers and clients.

The candidate should have a BSCE or equivalent, with at least 3 years of transportation project experience, and strong skills in Civil 3D and Excel for calculations and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) or equivalent; Registered Civil Engineer (RCE) preferred.
• At least 3 years of specialized experience working on Transportation Projects.
• Highly proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for engineering calculations and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed civil engineering designs, site development plans, alignment models, grading, and drainage layouts using Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Manage civil design deliverables from initial concepts to final construction documentation, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
• Perform engineering computations, quantity take-offs, and design data analysis using Microsoft Office Excel and standard civil engineering tools.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, multidisciplinary engineering teams, and client representatives to align on design requirements and technical specifications.
• Review design drawings, calculations, and documentation to maintain strict compliance with local/international engineering codes and company standards.
