Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in accounting/finance/economics/business or related discipline.
• 1–2 years in investment operations, derivatives operations, securities operations or related financial services.
• Ability to investigate operational exceptions and coordinate resolution.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and controls.
• Ability to prioritize multiple activities and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and derivative platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end post-trade lifecycle for OTC, cleared and exchange-traded derivatives.
• Perform trade processing activities including validation, allocation, matching, confirmation and exception resolution.
• Execute and monitor cash, trade and collateral settlements, resolving discrepancies and failed transactions.
• Perform position, transaction and cash reconciliations and investigate breaks through resolution.
• Manage collateral and margin activities, including margin calls, collateral movements, substitutions and reconciliations.
• Partner with Front Office, custodians, clearing brokers, counterparties, Technology and other Operations teams to resolve issues and ensure timely processing.
• Complete required operational controls, reporting, documentation and audit support.
• Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, controls and operational effectiveness.
• Develop knowledge across multiple Derivatives Operations functions to provide cross-functional coverage and operational resilience.
