Job summary

Oriental Consultants Philippines, Inc. seeks a Senior Structural Project Manager in Metro Manila to lead building rehabilitation and retrofitting initiatives from design through completion.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Structural Engineering, is a licensed Civil Engineer (PRC), and brings 15+ years of leadership in large-scale infrastructure projects, with strong DPWH knowledge and proficiency in ETABS, STAAD.Pro, and SAP2000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering required.
• Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC).
• 15+ years in structural engineering and senior project leadership.
• Experience in building rehabilitation, retrofitting, or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of DPWH standards, NSCP, and National Building Code.
• Proficiency in ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000.
• Experience reviewing structural plans, calculations, drawings, reports.
• Strong planning, scheduling, cost control, QA/QC and safety.
• Ability to coordinate consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• DPWH/government project experience and retrofitting/rehabilitation preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.

• Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering is required.

• Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC).

• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in structural engineering, construction, building rehabilitation, retrofitting, or infrastructure projects, including at least 15 years in a Project Manager or equivalent senior leadership role.

• Extensive experience in building structural assessment, rehabilitation, strengthening, and retrofitting projects.

• Proven experience managing structural/building rehabilitation and retrofitting projects from design through completion.

• Strong knowledge of DPWH standards and specifications, NSCP, National Building Code, and other applicable codes and standards.

• Proficient in ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, or equivalent structural analysis software.

• Experience reviewing structural plans, design calculations, drawings, and technical reports.

• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, cost control, QA/QC, and construction safety.

• Proven ability to coordinate consultants, contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders, particularly DPWH.

• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• DPWH/government project experience and building retrofitting/structural rehabilitation experience are highly preferred.
