Job summary

Surbana Consultants Pte Ltd – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) branch is seeking a Deputy Project Manager in Pasig to oversee civil and marine construction activities on site. You will coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and authorities, leading a team of engineers and inspectors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

The role requires a civil/structural engineering background with extensive project leadership, risk assessment, and contract administration

Qualifications

• Degree in civil or structural engineering.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• At least 10 years in large civil projects.
• 5 years in marine works: dredging, reclamation, wharf/jetty.
• Experience in risk assessment, geotechnical & enviro studies, tender docs, supervision, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist PM to oversee sites, general contractors, and workers for quality and safety.
• Report to senior management on schedule, cost and quality completion.
• Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, authorities; supervise team.
• Manage project phases from design to completion optimizing resources and cost.
• Lead a team of engineers and inspectors for delivery and governance.
• Manage client expectations and conduct regular client meetings.
• Attend progress meetings and provide weekly progress updates.
• Supervise contractors and consultant team; ensure SOP adherence.
• Ensure work aligns with contract documents and best engineering practices.
• Develop and maintain project cost/change controls and budgets.
• Perform change-order estimating and assist in negotiations.
• Coordinate schedule updates, invoices, and submittals.
• Review contractor progress and progress reports; keep client informed.
• Ensure HSE procedures are implemented and safety on site is maintained.
