Job summary

Surbana Consultants Pte Ltd – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) branch is seeking a senior Civil/Geotechnical Design Engineer to lead design and review activities for major infrastructure projects. You will manage a team of design engineers, coordinate with construction management, project control and contracts, and provide professional geotechnical services for marine, civil and coastal works.

Requirements include a civil engineering degree, 5+ years’ experience, proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil engineering from a recognised university.
• 5+ years of relevant civil engineering experience in large-scale infrastructure/reclamation projects.
• Experience managing design teams and coordinating with construction management and project controls.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all structural/geotechnical design and design review activities for the project, ensuring adherence to the design process and standards.
• Coordinate with design, construction management and project control teams to support construction progress.
• Manage a team of design engineers and provide guidance for design management and project delivery.
• Provide professional structural/geotechnical services for marine facilities and coastal works; prepare/approve design letters and geotechnical instrumentation issues.
