A dental care provider in Cavite is seeking a PRC-licensed dentist responsible for patient care, including diagnosing and treating oral health issues. Qualifications

• PRC-licensed dentist.
• Newly Board Passers are welcome.
• With Preceptorship is a plus.
• Willing to be trained and work at VERA.DENTAL CLINIC GEN. TRAIS BRANCH, General Trias, Cavite.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the clinic.
• Provide various dental treatments.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene.
• Provide treatments: cleanings, fillings, extractions, whitening, crowns, veneers, orthodontics.
• Administer local anesthesia as needed.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and aftercare.
• Perform oral cancer screening.
• Prescribe antibiotics and pain meds as required.
• Sterilize instruments before use.
• Take impressions for mouthguards and dentures.

Job description

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring efficient and compassionate patient care. Providing dental treatments to patients and Educating patients on good oral hygiene.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Fill up properly the dental charts and dental forms
• Examine patients’ teeth and gums to diagnose and treat various oral health issues
• Utilize x-rays and computer-generated imaging to assist with examinations
• Provide dental treatments to patients, including routine cleanings, extractions, dental fillings, cavity and tooth decay treatments, teeth whitening, bonding, and applications of dental crowns, caps, veneers, and orthodontic treatments
• Administer local anesthesia to patients as needed
• Educate patients on good oral hygiene practices and advise them on proper aftercare following certain dental procedures
• Perform oral cancer screening
• Prescribe antibiotics and pain medications to patients as required
• Ensure that all dental instruments and equipment are sterilized before each use
• Take impressions of patients’ mouths for the fabrication of customized mouthguards and dentures
