Position Overview
We are hiring Dental Billing Specialists to support US dental practices. Each specialist will be assigned one primary area:
1. Insurance Verification and Referrals
2. Billing Follow-Up and Appeals
3. Payment Posting and Ledger Reconciliation
4. Claims Entry and Submission
Although each employee will have a primary focus, the team will work together to maintain accurate patient accounts, resolve insurance issues, and support timely collections.
Primary Focus Areas
Insurance Verification and Referrals
- Verify patient eligibility, benefits, referrals, and authorization requirements.
- Update insurance and patient information accurately.
- Follow up on missing or pending referral documentation.
AR Follow-Up and Appeals
- Monitor aging claims and follow up with insurance companies.
- Investigate unpaid, denied, rejected, or underpaid claims.
- Correct claims, prepare appeals, and document all follow-up activity.
Payment Posting and Ledger Reconciliation
- Post insurance and patient payments, adjustments, and responsibilities.
- Reconcile EOBs, ERAs, deposits, and posting batches.
- Investigate credit balances, unapplied payments, and patient ledger discrepancies.
Claims Entry and Submission
- Review and submit accurate dental insurance claims.
- Confirm patient, insurance, provider, procedure, tooth, and attachment information.
- Correct clearinghouse rejections and resubmit claims promptly
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient ledgers.
- Protect confidential patient and financial information.
- Document completed work and next actions clearly.
- Meet daily productivity, quality, and turnaround expectations.
- Communicate professionally with US dental offices and insurance companies.
- Work independently while supporting the broader billing team.
Qualifications
- Entry-level candidates and applicants with one to three years of billing experience may apply.
- Dental, medical billing, healthcare, insurance, finance, or data-entry experience is preferred.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Ability to analyze account information and solve problems independently.
- Comfortable making calls to US insurance companies when required.
- Basic spreadsheet and computer skills.
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage assigned work without constant supervision.
- Comfortable and committed to working a permanent US night shift.
- Willing and able to work 100% on-site at our Philippines office.
- Familiarity with dental terminology, CDT codes, EOBs, ERAs, claims, appeals, or dental software is an advantage but not required for strong entry-level applicants.

Employment: Full-time, 100% on-site
Schedule: Permanent US night shift
Salary: 23,000.00 to 28,000.00
