Connext is seeking an experienced dental billing specialist to join our team in Davao City. You will review, verify, and submit dental insurance claims, ensuring accuracy and timely reimbursement for our dental centers.

Key duties include eligibility verification, benefits tracking, and follow-ups with insurers. Proficiency in Open Dental and Microsoft Office is preferred, with excellent communication and the ability to manage multiple deadlines independently.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of dental billing experience.
• 1+ year of outbound calling experience.
• Experience with patient appointment scheduling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines.
• Experience with Open Dental, insurance verification, or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review, process, and submit dental insurance claims accurately and on time.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility, benefits, deductibles, and coverage.
• Monitor submitted claims and follow up with insurance companies to resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and submit appeals for denied claims with complete supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate patient and insurance records in Open Dental.
• Document insurance verification details, benefit information, and relevant notes.
• Update allowed amounts, deductibles, and insurance usage information based on verified benefits.
• Assist patients, dental providers, and insurance companies with billing and claims-related concerns.
• Respond promptly to requests and inquiries from dental centers via email.
• Collaborate with the dental team while independently managing assigned tasks.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive daily reports to dental centers.
