Job summary

Principalia Management & Personnel Consultants Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Assistant/Line Cook to assist the Chef de Partie in managing the assigned kitchen section in the Philippines.

Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, marinating, seasoning, portioning, and cooking meats, seafood, vegetables, rice, and sauces, as well as supporting inventory control and training of junior staff. The role requires at least 1 year of working experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year working experience.
• No minimum educational attainment required.
• Passport valid for at least 2.5 years required.

• Assist the Chef de Partie in managing the assigned kitchen section and prepare ingredients (marinating, seasoning, portioning and cooking meats, seafood, vegetables, rice, and sauces).
• Assist with inventory control and report shortages or wastage; train and support Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants as required.
• Monitor food preparation and ensure orders are completed accurately and on time; maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
