Lead Demand Planning Excellence and Drive Business Growth

Alaska Milk Corporation is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Demand Lead to lead the demand planning process for our Consumer Dairy business in the Philippines.

This critical leadership role is responsible for driving forecast accuracy, facilitating the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, and ensuring alignment between commercial plans and supply chain execution. You will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Category, and Supply Chain teams to enable better business decisions and support sustainable growth.

What You'll Do

Lead Demand Strategy & S&OP Planning

• Own and drive the demand planning process for the Philippines Consumer Dairy business.
• Lead monthly demand reviews and facilitate the S&OP process to ensure strong cross-functional alignment.
• Develop demand plans that balance business ambitions with operational capabilities.
• Provide strategic input into business planning, forecasting, and growth initiatives.

Deliver Accurate Demand Forecasts

• Consolidate demand inputs from Sales, Marketing, Category, and Finance teams.
• Evaluate trends, assumptions, risks, opportunities, and business drivers to develop robust forecasts.
• Monitor forecast performance and continuously improve forecast accuracy.
• Ensure demand assumptions are clearly documented and aligned across stakeholders.

Partner with Commercial Teams

• Understand the impact of promotions, launches, events, seasonality, and market dynamics on demand.
• Translate commercial plans into actionable demand forecasts and supply chain requirements.
• Serve as a key business partner to Sales, Marketing, Key Accounts, Finance, and Category teams.

Drive Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Analyze forecast accuracy, bias, and business performance metrics.
• Develop actionable recommendations to improve planning effectiveness and decision quality.
• Lead improvement initiatives that strengthen demand planning processes, systems, and governance.
• Ensure adherence to FrieslandCampina planning standards and best practices.

Enable Business Growth

• Collaborate with Sales Leadership on annual and tactical sales targets.
• Support strategic projects including product launches, innovation initiatives, and process improvement programs.
• Provide market intelligence and insights that support business decision-making.

Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team

• Coach, develop, and inspire a team of Demand Planners.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making.
• Build strong partnerships across commercial and supply chain functions.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning, S&OP, Commercial Planning, or related functions within FMCG or consumer goods industries.
• Proven people leadership experience with the ability to develop and lead high-performing teams.

Preferred Experience

• Strong understanding of S&OP, Integrated Business Planning (IBP), and demand forecasting methodologies.
• Experience working with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain stakeholders.
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
• Experience using ERP and planning systems such as SAP APO, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Anaplan, or similar tools.
• Background in managing demand planning for multiple channels, including General Trade, Modern Trade, Food Service, and E-Commerce.
