Job summary

Emapta Philippines is recruiting a Demand Planning Analyst to transform sales trends, historical data, and market signals into accurate forecasts that guide inventory planning and supply chain decisions. This role offers international exposure and professional growth within a leading Australian media client.

You will develop forecasts using historical data, collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain, and aim for forecast accuracy using advanced Excel and Power BI skills in a day-shift,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or a related analytical role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience interpreting data and forecasting.
• Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and data visualization.
• Familiarity with Power BI or other analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data, trends, and stakeholder inputs.
• Monitor forecasting performance and refine projections based on changing business needs.
• Analyze sales performance, stock levels, and market conditions to identify trends and forecasting opportunities.
• Generate insights that support planning and decision-making.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to understand promotions and shifts.
• Align demand forecasts with business priorities and upcoming initiatives.
• Ensure demand forecasts align with inventory targets to minimize stock shortages and excess inventory.
• Support efficient product availability across the business.
• Assist in improving demand planning processes, systems, tools, and forecasting methodologies.
• Recommend initiatives that enhance planning efficiency and forecast accuracy.
• Evaluate potential demand fluctuations caused by seasonality, product lifecycle changes, or other external factors.
• Support contingency planning through data-driven forecasting scenarios.
• Maintain the accuracy and consistency of demand planning data across systems.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies to ensure reliable reporting and decision-making.

The Qualifications We Seek

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or a related analytical role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience interpreting complex data and supporting demand forecasting and inventory planning
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and data visualization
• Familiarity with demand planning software and analytics tools, such as Power BI, is an advantage
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to data accuracy
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Willing and able to work onsite in Ortigas
• Ability to create meaningful impact and deliver results with purpose and accountability

Your Daily Tasks
