Job summary

Tyco Electronics Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Demand Analyst to support the S&OP process with data-driven demand analysis. You will forecast at the part-number level for multiple locations and collaborate with product management, sales, and customers to build a consensus forecast.

The role requires strong analytics, Excel/ERP tooling, and excellent communication to explain forecast assumptions, risks, and opportunities in monthly reviews and planning meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. APICS certification is a plus.
• 3+ years’ experience in Demand Planning, Demand Analysis, or Supply Chain Planning.
• Experience supporting S&OP, Demand Review, and cross-functional planning processes.
• Strong understanding of Demand Planning, S&OP, MRP, and Supply Chain concepts.
• Experience developing and analyzing demand forecasts, forecast accuracy metrics, bias, and variance.
• Hands-on experience with forecasting and planning systems such as SAP (IBP/ERP), JDA, Xelus, or similar tools; advanced Excel skills and exposure to analytics or Python-based models is a plus.
• Strong business analytics, data management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Optional: Chinese or Spanish speaker (depends region affected)

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and refine short-term, mid-term, and long-term demand forecasts by analyzing historical patterns, seasonality, and market signals.
• Actively manage demand forecasts by region, customer, and product, adjusting based on trends and inputs.
• Monitor demand plan versus actual performance monthly; analyze variance and root causes.
• Prepare and present materials for monthly Demand Review, MBR, and S&OP meetings.
• Use SAP, IBP, Salesforce, and Excel-based models to align planning and communication.
• Maintain MRP groups and Safety Stock for assigned products; align with policies and constraints.
• Support inventory strategy by analyzing demand variability and service-level impacts.
• Participate in demand-related issues and cross-functional corrective actions.
• Assist in validating forecasting tools and improving data quality.
