Job summary

UnionBank is seeking a Delivery Excellence Partner to improve project delivery predictability, quality, transparency, and governance. The role provides independent assurance using SDLC metrics across squads and programs, influencing enterprise standards without hands-on delivery ownership.

You will interact with engineering leads, product owners, delivery leads, architecture teams, and executives, shaping governance and reporting via Jira, Confluence, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Experience in Agile and enterprise-scale engineering delivery models.
• Background in project delivery assurance, governance, and portfolio oversight.
• Ability to interpret project delivery metrics (velocity, lead time, defects, test coverage).
• Comfort with Jira, Power BI, GitLab, SonarQube and test automation frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Analytical mindset with change management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent, data-driven assurance across squads, tribes and programs.
• Assess readiness, capacity, dependencies, and delivery variances for plans.
• Review health, metrics, and risk using SDLC indicators for leadership decisions.
• Utilize Jira, Excel, and Power BI to track trends, lead times, and delivery outcomes.
• Promote standard governance, ceremonies, and Definitions of Ready/Done.
• Identify delivery risks and recommend improvements to increase predictability.
