JOB SUMMARY

The Dispatch Specialist oversees the end-to-end food delivery dispatch process. This role coordinates between the kitchen, social media team, and delivery riders to ensure every order is 100% accurate, well-packaged, and handed over on time while maintaining strict food safety standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Order Verification: Collect delivery receipts (DRs) from social media staff and cross-check items, quantities, and portion sizes before packing.
• Quality Control: Inspect dishes for recipe accuracy, visual presentation, and secure, temperature-preserving packaging.
• Team Coordination: Work closely with kitchen cooks and social media agents to track preparation times and resolve order issues immediately.
• Rider Management: Hand over completed orders to couriers with clear instructions, accurate customer address details, and correct handling guidelines.
• Issue Resolution: Spot delays, fix order mistakes on the spot, handle rider queries, and address customer complaints regarding wrong or missing items.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow safe food handling, hygiene standards, and data privacy rules during all order transfers.
• Process Tracking: Update digital dispatch logs, monitor delivery metrics, and suggest improvements to boost speed during peak hours.
