Accenture in the Philippines is seeking a Record to Report Ops Analyst to support the General Accounting function. This role is office-based in Taguig and follows a morning shift, returning to office setup.

You will perform General Accounting tasks under supervision, with opportunities to handle varied work and escalate issues as needed. A candidate with at least 6 months of related experience in Transaction Processing, Closing Cycle, or Financial Reporting is preferred.

• Exposure to transaction processing, closing cycle or financial reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver General Accounting activities for the client under guidance.
• Perform standard tasks with potential to vary work sequencing.
• Solve problems largely by precedent and refer to procedures.
• Escalate issues and seek advice when outside the normal scope.
• Work under general direction from supervisor/manager.

• Maintain accuracy, efficiency and organization in daily duties.

POSITION TITLE: Record to Report Ops Analyst

WORK SETUP: Return to Office

OVERALL PURPOSE:

The General Accounting Associate is responsible for delivery of the General Accounting activities for the client.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for activities assigned by the General Accounting Lead
• Performs regular standard tasks but with the opportunity to vary work sequencing.
• Solves problems largely by precedent with referral to detailed instructions/procedures.
• Seeks advice and escalates issues when faced with tasks/problems outside normal scope of job.
• Subject to general direction and guidance from supervisor / manager as appropriate.
• Interacts largely with own workgroup but may interact with users around first line queries/requests for information.
• Accurate, efficient and organized within daily responsibilities.
• Adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and skills.
• Demonstrates the ability to work as part of a team.
• Escalates production issues to his/her team leader as appropriate.
• Complies with all clients published policies and procedures and any legal and regulatory requirements that the company is obliged to adhere to.
