Job summary

Vertere Global Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer / BI Developer with hands-on experience in Databricks and Power BI to build data pipelines and dashboards that support business decision-making.

You will extract, clean, transform, and integrate data, design data models, write SQL queries, monitor data quality, and collaborate with business users to define reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, BI, or related role.
• Hands-on Databricks and Power BI experience.
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling knowledge.
• Experience with ETL/ELT and data integration.
• Familiarity with Python or PySpark is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines using Databricks.
• Extract, clean, transform, and integrate data from various sources.
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Create data models and write SQL queries for reporting and analysis.
• Monitor data quality, accuracy, and pipeline performance.
• Work with business users to understand reporting requirements.
• Troubleshoot data and dashboard-related issues.
• Maintain technical documentation for data processes and reports.
