Job summary

Vertere Global Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise data pipelines and reporting solutions. The role focuses on cloud-based data platforms, data quality, analytics readiness, and governance across business units.

The candidate will collaborate with data teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure scalable, secure data delivery and reliable operational reporting. A strong emphasis on documentation and governance is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL/ELT, or similar role.
Experience building and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines ingesting data into cloud storage and analytics layers.
Develop and maintain staging, intermediate, and reporting data structures following enterprise standards.
Create and maintain extraction, transformation, loading, and automation scripts.
Coordinate workflow orchestration and scheduling using tools like Airflow or Step Functions.
Maintain pipeline metadata, schemas, and data assets in data catalogs; ensure scalability and quality.
Execute, monitor, and support scheduled reporting across Finance, Operations, Marketing, Network, and Collections.
Validate job completions, perform reruns, and document root-cause analyses for failures.
Monitor data quality: completeness, accuracy, consistency, referential integrity, timeliness, uniqueness.
Support deployment and governance activities, audit logs, and security compliance.
Assist vendors and stakeholders with schema mappings and technical documentation.
