Job summary

ERNI, a Swiss-founded software company with a service center in Mandaluyong, is seeking a database professional to maintain and optimize critical data platforms in a hybrid work setup.

You will monitor SQL Server, Azure PostgreSQL, Oracle and Snowflake, perform backups and recovery, tuning, migrations, and security, and work with application and infrastructure teams to automate routine tasks and document procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in database administration and production support.
• Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server and Azure PostgreSQL Flexible Server.
• Knowledge of Oracle Database and Snowflake is an advantage.
• Experience with database monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of backup, recovery, database security, and access management.
• Experience with migrations and platform upgrades; cloud familiarity (Azure, OCI).
• Basic scripting or automation skills (PowerShell, Python, SQL, Bash).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot database issues and implement solutions.
• Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and configuration reviews.

What are our wishes?

Experience in database administration and production support.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Azure PostgreSQL Flexible Server.

Working knowledge of Oracle Database and Snowflake is an advantage.
