Qualifications

• 5–8 years of professional experience in information security focusing on data loss prevention and data protection.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview including DLP, information protection and labeling.
• Strong understanding of data protection, governance, privacy, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Configure and use Microsoft Purview solutions including DLP and labeling.
• Monitor alerts and investigate potential data loss or misuse activities.
• Escalate high-risk incidents and support response efforts.
• Analyze user activity and data movement to identify risks.
• Refine DLP and labeling policies to reduce false positives.
• Support classification initiatives across Microsoft 365 workloads.
• Assist in audits and maintain compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with IT, Security, Legal, and HR on investigations.
